Birth Certificate Authentication Canada
The UAE is home to people from all over the world, but it has a set of strict rules and procedures to screen foreigners looking to move to the country.
All foreign nationals with Canadian-born children have to provide authenticated birth certificates before applying for a UAE family visa.
The authentication of a Canadian birth certificate is the equivalent of attesting a birth certificate in other countries. In Canada, the attestation process is referred to as Authentication and Legalization.
Authenticating Canadian documents is slightly different than attesting documents from other countries. But hiring a reliable attestation services provider in the UAE can ensure that the authentication process goes seamlessly.
The slightest error in legal documents can cause unnecessary delays in the authentication process, which will impact how quickly you get the residential visa.

Authenticating Canadian Birth Certificates for the UAE
Canada doesn’t issue an Apostille. Therefore its attestation process differs from that in the US and England.
Step 1: Sending the Birth Certificate to the Global Affairs Canada
Global Affairs Canada accepts the certificate as original. It will attach a Certificate of Authentication to the birth certificate.
After Global Affairs Canada has approved the birth certificate, you can use it abroad.
Step 2: Legalization
The UAE Embassy in Ottawa will attest the document before sending it back to the UAE. The embassy will charge a fee for its services that must be paid through bank drafts issued in Canada, money orders, and certificates checks.
The UAE Embassy is the final stop for a Canadian birth certificate.
This is the last stage of the attestation process in Canada; we will then send your degree back to the UAE.
Step 3: Attestation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
All foreign documents will have to be given to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for attestation in Dubai; the same applies to birth certificates issued in Canada.
If you send us an electronic copy Canadian birth certificate, we’ll give you a quote containing a detailed breakdown of the costs.
