UAE Embassy Attestation
As an expatriate who’s hoping to start a life in the UAE, you’re required to submit attested documents. Your marriage certificate, educational certificates, medical certificates, business documents, child’s birth certificate, and other legal paperwork will all have to be attested to obtain a residential visa in the country.
Attesting documents involves sending the papers to various government departments in the issuing country and eventually to UAE authorities for signing and stamping.
If you’re already in the UAE when applying for a residential visa, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will give you the final stamp of approval. However, if you’re applying for employment or education from outside the UAE, then the local UAE embassy will handle the attestation for you.
Before the papers are given to the UAE embassy for attestation, they must be verified and attested by the issuing country’s government agencies. Once the issuing country’s attestation process is completed, the documents can be delivered to the UAE embassy.
Dropping Documents to the UAE Embassy for Attestation
The documents must be submitted to the UAE embassy by the titleholder, direct relatives, or an authorized third party. This third party must have a signed authorization letter from the titleholder.
The UAE embassy will not accept submissions from any other person.
Why Hire Professional Attestation Services?
People who aren’t familiar with the attestation process can find it confusing and overwhelming.
If you don’t have the necessary documents, the attestation process will take longer than it needs to; you could even end up wasting your time, money, and effort.
Why Do I Need To Get My Documents Attested?
Expats who want to apply for a residential, educational, employment, or business visa in the UAE must have attested legal documents as proof of their authenticity.
How Long Does it Take?
The duration of the entire attestation process heavily depends on how long the issuing country takes to attest the documents. Once the documents are submitted to the UAE embassy, it shouldn’t take longer than 3–5 days.
Speak to Benchmark Attestation Services if you need to fast-track the attestation process and need your papers urgently.
How Much Does It Cost?
The cost of the complete attestation process varies from country to country. You will be asked to pay a fee to get your documents attested by the UAE embassy, too; the price is slightly higher for those who want to fast-track the process.
