UAE Embassy Attestation in Philippines
Legal documents issued in the Philippines can be attested through the UAE embassy and be used to apply for a UAE residential visa.
The UAE requires foreign nationals seeking residency to submit attested legal documents. These documents include educational certificates, birth certificates, marriage certificates, police clearance certificates, vocational/technical training diplomas, and affidavits.
Once documents issued in the Philippines have an Apostille attached, Filipinos can use them for various purposes in foreign countries. Filipino nationals looking to live in the UAE will have to submit their locally attested documents to the UAE embassy in Manila, then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE.
All certificates issued by the Philippines will first have to be processed for DFA Apostille and then by the UAE embassy located in Manila.
Document Attestation in the Philippines
Documents issued by the Philippines will need an Apostille from the Philippines Department of Foreign Affairs; this is the authoritative body that assesses the legitimacy of the sign on the document.
Note that if a birth or marriage certificate is issued in the Philippines and has a “Specified services certificate” written, the individual can’t use it outside the country. These documents will need to be replaced with others for abroad use.
